Packed, Thank You & Labor Pains

The last suitcase is smooshed down and ready for take off!
Leaving late morning tomorrow my brother Ryan is our chauffeur to the airport.

Thank you so much to everyone for all your donations of goods for the orphanage. We accumulated quite a collection. We received loads of toys, clothes, blankets, food, jewelry and coloring books for the orphanage. All of the gifts will be greatly appreciated at the orphanages.

Thank you to everyone for all the gifts for Jakob. We have lots of fun things for him to take along. Hopefully they will keep him content on the plane.

A HUGE Thank you for the love, support and prayers that we have received during this time. It has definitely had it's ups and downs, but we are in the final steps to becoming a family of 3.

Enough with the teary eye things! I think we are in pre-labor pains tonight. Excited, nervous, anxious, many feelings are flowing right now. We will experience most of the labor pains tomorrow on the 15 1/2 Hour flight from DC to Ethiopia. Then arriving in Addis knowing Jakob is in the same city, but still unable to see him. We will then be at the point where it is not quite time for him to join us and "be sent home from the hospital". (Actually we are going on a weekend trip to Alaba) When we return on Sunday night we will be back in Addis, knowing he is there, and finally going to get him on Monday morning. I say skip breakfast let's go!!!

We will try and post as soon as we can to let you know that we arrived. Well we might post before then if we are bored sitting in the airport.

Again Thank you everyone for your support.
We can't wait to share our pictures with you shortly.
Hugs & Kiss,
Rick & Mandi
